DAVID FOODEN

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

David Fooden, a senior associate at Rubin, Abramson LLP, focuses his practice on representing both defendants and claimants in workers’ compensation cases.

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Fooden represented workers in class-action employees’ rights cases, specializing in “wage and hour” and Fair Labor Standards Act violations cases throughout the United States. Following this, he worked for local government, managing a workers’ compensation benefits program for town employees. Mr. Fooden then worked for a workers’ compensation defense law firm, where he represented insurance carriers and self-insured employers defending claims.

These varied experiences within the workers’ compensation and workers’ rights arenas have given him a unique perspective and expertise in his practice.  He continues to fight vigorously for the rights of workers in his role at Rubin, Abramson LLP.

Mr. Fooden received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany in 2007 with a major in Political Science and with minors in Business and Education. He graduated from Albany Law School in 2010, receiving a Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration through a joint program of Albany Law School and the State University of New York at Albany. He is admitted to practice in New York State.
