Shayne Dorr is an associate at Rubin Abramson, L.L.P.   She has practiced before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board for over 23 years.   Shayne spent the early part of her career representing insurance carriers, which gives her a unique insight into their tactics and prepared her to be a formidable advocate for injured workers.  With this background she is able to anticipate what steps an employer and carrier will be taking and to be ready to handle any claim.  Shayne has successfully agued thousands of cases before the Workers' Compensation Board and has experience from intake through appellate work, which helps her value the claim and navigate her clients through the process at every stage.  

 

Ms. Dorr received a Bachelor of Arts from the Stonehill College in 1994 with a major in Political Science and with minors in History/Irish Studies. She graduated from New York Law School in 1999, receiving a Juris Doctor.   She is admitted to practice in New York State and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

Ms. Dorr, whose practice focuses on Workers’ Compensation, received her Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College in 1994, and her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1999. She was admitted to practice law in New York State and Massachusetts in 2000.
