Larry Przetakiewicz

Larry Przetakiewicz, a senior associate at Rubin, Abramson LLP, focuses his practice on representing injured workers in Workers’ Compensation cases.
Following law school, Mr. Prezetakiewicz served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Queens District Attorney’s Office. There he served as a felony trial attorney in the Narcotics Trials Bureau. Following this, Larry worked several years at a workers’ compensation defense firm, where he represented insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers defending claims. With this background, Larry is able to anticipate what steps an employer or carrier will be taking to be ready to
handle any claim.
Mr. Przetakiewicz is a member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and New York Workers’ Compensation Bar Association. Outside of the office, Larry is a member of the Massapequa Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA).
Mr. Przetakiewicz received his Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University in 2006 in Political Scientist with a minor in Philosophy. He received his Juris Doctor at Touro Law Center in 2012 where he graduated magna cum laude and was the Program Editor of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Przetakiewicz was admitted to practice law in New York in 2013.
